Formwork and Scaffolding for construction sites

Access scaffolding BRIO

Safe and stable scaffold access systems

BRIO temporary access systems are structures that allow access to work areas on the worksite or facilitate pedestrian passage in public spaces.

The geometry and load-bearing capacities required of the scaffolding can vary greatly according to the type of application and the place to be accessed. All applicable standards for the safe assembly, dismantling, and use of the scaffolding should also be taken into account.

In this regard, BRIO temporary access systems, composed of ringlock scaffolding components, guarantee safety and are certified according to European Standards EN 12810-1/2 and EN 12811-1/2/3).  They also offer a full range of solutions in geometry, rigidity, and load-bearing capacity.

Stair towers

Facilitate easy and safe vertical access to working platforms or to different points on the worksite, reaching heights of up to 76 m with standardised configurations.

  • Possible configurations:
    • 3.0 m x 1.5 m staircase with aluminium stringer
    • 3.0 m x 1.4 m staircase with aluminium stringer
    • 3.4 m x 1.5 m staircase with steel stringer

Temporary accesses in public spaces

Guarantee safe pedestrian transit. Typical applications include: footbridges, ramps, platforms and public staircases. Complies with the most stringent regulations for public accesses.

  • Possible configurations: thanks to the BRIO components, countless configurations can be achieved by variations in both width and height. Solutions are provided for more complex access requirements with combinations of ramps, stairs, and platforms.

Stair towers:

  • Simple design with few elements for quick and easy assembly
  •  Moveable by crane.
  •  Easy-access surfaces: stair widths of 0.70 m and 1.02 m, according to needs.
  • Lateral or front landings.
  • Can be combined with BRIO and DORPA façade scaffolding
  • Safety guaranteed for the assembler with posts and safety ledgers, as well as for the workers later using the assembly for construction.

Temporary accesses in public spaces:

    • Comply with current regulations for public accesses. All collective safety measures are guaranteed.
    • The versatility of the system allows for multiple configurations to accommodate public footbridges, ramps, platforms, and stairs. Each solution is configured to meet specific project needs for pedestrian transit, as well as the height, load-bearing capacity, and geometry of the access system.
    • A wide variety of sizes paired with a wide range of accessories allow for maximum flexibility.
    • The simplicity of the system makes it ideal for keeping to assembly schedules.
    • High load-bearing capacity
    • The system offers all elements necessary to meet applicable safety regulations: safety guardrails, non-slip platforms and steps.
