Description

Located in the heart of the city, near the United Nations building, this is a unique complex since it fulfills the highest technical standards, with a wide variety of halls and rooms for seminars. It has a 5,000 person capacity for any of its events, and an entrance with an undulated glass roof. It consists of four conference halls with their respective lobby. These facilities and the assembly hall are linked together through an underground hallway, making it possible to join them for large events. The new Conference Center is completed with a 350 room, 4 star hotel, an area for leisure and restaurants.

ULMA Solution

A building of this magnitude needed the most adequate product for each solution: ORMA formwork for the execution of walls, VR Tables for slabs, and T-60 shoring tower structures as a load distribution system. These systems always provided the necessary fair-faced concrete finish and their adaptation to the different geometries.

The high working paces and the demands of this elaborate project were fulfilled, since all of the products and quantities were supplied according to the planned times.

The logistics services and the flexibility of the proposed solutions contributed towards having all of the work executed according to the established plans and to the full satisfaction of the client.

In fact, the use of ORMA on a large scale ensured the profitability of the project, thanks to its speed and savings in large uses.

All of the applications available with this system allowed for its use both vertically as well as horizontally, since its three height ranges are compatible. Additionally, large lifting gangs may be formed thanks to the easy action of the clamp.

Material rotation took place throughout the project, since the use of pre-assembled VR Tables, comprised of 21 mm thick phenolic plywood, facilitated the continuous transfer of this product from one use to another.
