Restoration of the maqsura Mosque – Cathedral of Córdoba

The maqsura of the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba is one of the city’s most fascinating architectural treasures. It is a reserved area within the main building, located on the southern side of the mihrab, which is the most sacred part of the mosque. The restoration project, with an expected duration of around three years, will recover the original appearance of both the mihrab and the maqsura, using the same materials employed in their construction in the 10th century. ULMA has provided solutions for this project, tackling significant challenges related to the lack of support points, which influenced the design of the scaffolding structures based on the BRIO system.

We have extensive experience in scaffolding solutions for all types of restoration projects. Contact us for advice with no obligation.
