Aitor Igartua, new CEO of ULMA Construction

This decision concludes a process carried out over recent months and reflects our commitment to internal talent and to the future development of ULMA Construction, one of the world’s leading companies in formwork, shoring and scaffolding systems for the construction sector.

Aitor Igartua joined ULMA Construction in 1995 and has developed his entire professional within the company. Over the past 30 years, he has taken on a range of key responsibilities, from operational and management roles to senior positions with international scope. He is currently the Area Manager for the Iberian Peninsula, Mexico and Export markets.

Aitor Igartua’s experience provides him with deep understanding of the business and a global perspective that will be essential to drive this new stage. He has led subsidiaries  in major strategic markets and has been a member of the Business Management Board since 2011.

Born in Oñati 56 years ago, the new CEO of ULMA Construction holds a degree in Industrial Technical Engineering from EHU (University of the Basque Country).

This change in leadership of ULMA Construction further strengthens our position and enables the organisation to move forward with confidence towards upcoming challenges, while maintaining our values, culture and strategic priorities.
