Driven by this commitment to continuous improvement, the ULMA team undertook a comprehensive review of the original MK20 FORM wall formwork design. The objective was clear: preserve the system’s proven performance while reducing material costs, simplifying handling, and making the solution even more competitive for contractors.

Today, ULMA is proud to introduce the renamed and improved MK-S FORM and MK-C FORM wall forming systems that delivers greater value without compromising the performance contractors expect. The updated MK-S FORM and MK-C FORM systems are engineered to help customers achieve meaningful savings in both material costs and labor. Compared with the previous solution, the updated system offers the potential to reduce material cost by approximately 30% and assembly labor by approximately 50%. These improvements are made possible through an optimized design that reduces material usage and simplifies the system’s overall configuration. For example, the updated 8-foot-wide by 8-foot-tall MK-C FORM panels are around 35% lighter than the same size panel designed with the original MK20 FORM Circular system, making them easier for crews to lift, position, and handle on site.
