Located in Kissimmee, Florida lies a new up and coming resort filled with all the essentials a customer needs for a relaxing day with a perfect view of the busy streets of Florida. The Flats Resort is a 7-floor building with a panoramic view of the local city, ranging from 30,000 sqft. on each floor and in total 210,000sqft. With our collaboration alongside VMG Constructions, ULMA provided forming and shoring equipment to enhance durability and high-quality performance with each functionality of this resort. Our popular systems, such as the FORMADECK, KSP Platform and MEGAFORM, provide a combination of equipment used to make the resort the best it can be.
ULMA Solution
The Flats Resort includes popular systems like the FORMADECK, an easy-to-use function to save time in the reshoring process. With the FORMADECK system, the drophead function worked right alongside the aluminum girders and LVL joist. This allowed an efficient way to maximize productivity with fast shoring cycle time to keep up with the pressing schedule. With the KSP Platforms, this system makes it easy to shift from each floor to the next. In this jobsite, it didn’t require so much time to go to each level which made it the number one reason to use it on every floor at a minimum amount of time. Another system that’s on each floor is our MEGAFORM, a system used for the walls and columns reaching up to 16ft high for the first floor. This is heavy-duty formwork equipment that absorbs impact and is versatile to use for many different civil engineering projects. ULMA is proud to be a part of this project with VMG Constructions, a partnership allowing many opportunities to collaborate on.
