The Holden at Delray Beach in Delray Beach Florida is an Alliance Residential Property.  It is a senior living facility consisting 2 buildings one of which is  four stories and the other building is five stories. One building houses independent living units and the other includes assisted living units.  The independent living building includes a theater, library, beauty parlor, gym and dining room on the first floor. The complex consists of a total of 165 residential units and is 225,000 square feet.

ULMA Solution

Based on the needs of this complex the contractor selected 32,000 square feet of the ENKOFLEX shoring system for forming the floors and MEGAFRAME handset shoring system for the balconies. MEGAFRAME 20,000 pound per frame galvanized steel handset shoring system which can be used on a great variety of construction projects. The light weight beams of the ENKOFLEX system were chosen for their ease of use and transport. ENKOFLEX is a wood beam slab formwork system adaptable to most any type of slab and height configuration. Independent beams provide great versatility.

For the shear walls and elevator and stair cores 2,500 square feet of MEGALITE was used. MEGALITE is a lightweight, medium duty handset panel formwork system in imperial measurements for concrete walls, columns and pilasters in building construction and civil engineering projects.

ALUPROP is an aluminum high load-bearing capacity shoring post used to shore horizontal formwork and to meet shoring requirements, including for reshoring.
