In Orlando Florida, lies a new high-end student housing development for the University of Central Florida. The entirety of the building is 304,969 sqft., with a total of 5 floors. With 177 units, students have the ability to enjoy a limited amount of luxurious amenities such as a resort style pool, a game lounge, sky lounge and a study area on every floor. Here at ULMA, we were honored to be a part of this development by supplying popular equipment such as our MEGAFRAME and MEGALITE. By providing both forming and shoring solutions we ensure our customers that they will only receive a high-quality service of our team. 

ULMA Solution

In this collaboration with RJL Concrete we had the opportunity to present our MEGALITE system. A lightweight medium duty handset panel formwork system, used in this project in providing 2400 sqft. formwork for 2’x2’ columns, height varies from 14’ to 22’. The solution itself provides every floor to be evenly leveled that allows concrete pouring to be more sufficient. As for the MEGAFRAME, a steel frame handset system that is connected to each other via cross braces; this system we provided a 14' and 22' high frames, a 12" concrete slab alongside a 2'x2'-6" drop beams. The combination of these systems to form one solution is an example of the security and efficiency our system provides no matter what project.
