Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for administrative tasks such as employee compensation, benefits programs, and compliance. The ideal candidate will work directly with the Human Resources Manager.

Duties and responsabilities

  • Administers employee insurance programs including life, disability, and health insurance plans.
  • Administers employee savings plans that may include the company’s 401(k) plan, personal savings plans, and deferred compensation programs.
  • Advises and informs employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage, and provisions.
  • Assists HR Manager with payroll including time keeping and tax compliance using ADP Workforce Now system.
  • Assists the HR Manager by Researching and comparing incentive compensation plans offered by similar organizations; assesses competitors’ plans and makes recommendations for enhancements or improvements required to keep the organization’s plans competitive and effective.
  • Facilitates accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other appropriate service providers.
  • Completes records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Assists HR Manager with recruiting tasks and managing recruitment selection and advertisements.
  • Assist in pre-employment process & onboarding new employees including orientation.
  • Works with HR Manager to manage company events and gift packages
  • Responsible for managing the compliance calendar and tasks for various HR programs including 401K, insurance, audits and taxes
  • Ensures the organization’s compliance with the applicable provisions of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in compensation and benefits administration.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience, education, skills and abilities

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the Human Resources Field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience administering compensation and/or benefits programs.
  • SHRM-CP preferred.
  • Strong Time Management Skills
  • Good Customer Service Skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office.


  • $75,000 - $85,000 Annually.
  • Salary is based on experience.
