The base in Itaguai-RJ will become the largest and most advanced infrastructure of the Brazilian Navy.

Besides shipbuilding, its more than 90,000 m2 include a manufacturing unit of steel structure for the construction of submarine's internals.

Opening is scheduled for the first quarter of 2015.

As an important player in Brazil's main infrastructure projects as well as worldwide, ULMA supplied solutions with climbing systems suiting the demanding pier height within stringent lead times.

ENKOFORM VMK vertical formwork, consisting of Walers MK and Beams VM20, and climbing brackets rounded up the solutions for high strength piers.

BRIO Modular Scaffolding was used as working platform and provided safe access to different areas.
