Description

Located in the Commune of Rio Bueno, fourteenth region, the plant is powered by the Lican River.

The project consists of a water intake at 444.9 m above sea level. Moreover, it includes two small water intakes, forebay, penstock and powerhouse at 233.4 m above sea level.

ULMA Solution

The water canals were built with NEVI vertical formwork. T-60 Shoring and BTM horizontal formwork made up the platform for the construction of the canal, bridging varying levels and ravines.

The forebay built with NEVI was a big challenge. The inclination of the panels required for their anchoring to the foundation.
